The two pieces of furniture included here were designed and built by Cecilia Orr (in NZ), with assistance from tool maker Ken Moodie.

Starting with heavy cast iron found objects, Cecilia challenged herself to create elegant tables with thin tops that seemed to float almost as if unsupported. The top of Rough Around the Edges is steel treated was chemicals to create a patina.  A-Table was designed as a jewellery or display table, and has been designed to be reconfigurable.
